About

Statement

My art is created from what I see in my mind. I see it as a puzzle I aesthetically put together on the substrate of which I choose to depict my thoughts.

Biography

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember.  I primarily work with pastels or oil paint on wood.  Many pieces are made using a surreal impressionist / pointillist style to get the desired effect, texture, and shadows from the work.  My primary influences are the art from the Renaissance, Impressionist, and Surrealist masters.  My work is done from thoughts and concepts I come up with prior to starting a piece.
